As I write this, it is 1:11 AM on February 2, 2019. I’m one month into the semester and about three months’ time away from the end of it. I have a graph of the next four years drawn on a 3×5 notecard with twelve-month increments notched out for every year. I know this sounds confusing in just words. Here, here’s a picture of it.
As you can see, I’ve shaded the month of January 2019 out. That’s because January 2019 is over. Maybe you noticed. And fret not, I was not degrading your character nor your ability to tell when January was over. It was just a bit of words-only sarcasm. That kind of sarcasm is always the hardest to achieve successfully. But no matter.
What was I saying? Oh, yes. It’s February 2, 2019. And I’ve got the next four years graphed out. I don’t have a whole lot of highfaluting tech to make me feel really cool and techy about being an author-entrepreneur, but I do have this blog. And that’s what I’m going to use. For now.
It’s a fight, fight, fight to the death to get off the ground for me. Especially since I only just got back above the just comfortable notch in my savings, I don’t really feel like spending $100 on a premium site that will make me less unprofessional-looking. I’m just going to blog the best I can and trust God the whole way.
What do you think? Should I do anything to heighten my number of streams of income? What would you do? What would you want to hear if you were in my position?
