3 Reasons to Act As You Read This

I am about to go see Avengers: Endgame with my sister.

We’re gonna be in the exact two middle seats at the exact front of the auditorium. I never pick those kinds of seats. Theaters are loud. So, most of the time, I don’t wish to be as close as possible.

But this being one of the biggest cinematic landmarks of the 21stCentury, I cannot pass up being exactly front and center.

So, that’s we’re I’ll be this afternoon.

But my main topic today is acting. Not stage acting or movie acting. But acting on life purpose.

If you are waiting for a particular day to come, for example, if you are waiting to see Avengers: Endgame on a particular day. But you know in order to see Avengers: Endgame on that day having seen all the Marvel Cinematic Universe in chronological order just beforehand, you must act on that thought and watch all those movies before you see Avengers: Endgame.

But it needn’t be Avengers: Endgame you’re waiting for. It can be anything. It is anything. You cannot wait for a day to come. That day depends on you doing something today.

I don’t know what you’re facing this day

But I know what I’m facing. And all our problems are rather similar. Because they’re all human problems.

You must act.

Acting in this very minute will affect how your next minute will go and that will affect the next and so on. If you think about it, all our actions, no matter how seemingly minimal, affect everything and everyone in ways we cannot imagine.

Yes, a great many can be imagined if we think deeply enough about it. But more still yet unimagined are possible.

Acting in this life affects the next life. Which life? Every life you touch.

If you’re acting today and in this minute, you’re acting in this life and your acting will touch another life and just as your minutes affect the minutes to come, the lives you affect will affect the lives to come after that.

A single rock dropped in a lake may not seem like it will make all that much of a difference, but when you see the affect that rock as on the side of that lake opposite you, the possibilities unveiled to your doubting eyes will take to the sky.
